Two Happy Days

Debs reads beside herself (Blogger did this for some reason! ;)

A Comfrey plant from generous Mr. McK! Comfrey is a fantastic medicinal plant.

Mini rose

Thick new leaves...

Warden and reflected light

In Which the measuring of Wahlquists takes place :)

Watching while Andrew marks down the subject's name and height

Stephen darling's turn

This is not the correct way ;)
(we can't help joking, even engaged in such a mundane task as measuring people's heights! ;)

Discussing

Some of the marks: Dad at the top, holding his own by only 1/4" over Ben -- Nathaniel & Micah, tied -- Andrew, below them -- and me, the lowest mark in sight. :)
(Deborah & Stephen's marks aren't visible in this pic)

Moon and Planet

Some of you may be getting tired of seeing pics this cutie -- but we aren't! :)

Stephen's newest passion is brass instruments! He can't decide whether he likes the trumpet, trombone, or french horn best.

Sewing

 My beautiful mother

"She's taking a picture of me."

;)

They're out!

More "practice" -- he can actually get sounds out of it!

A happy boy

Pond-swimming (though, as it's only 2 or 3 feet deep, it's not really swimming... ;)

Deborah was heartily disgusted by this baby crayfish -- she hates it when they appear!

Funny thing... while the "littlies" were swimming in our pond, Beth & Erich, in Corpus Christi for the day, were playing in the ocean! Below are three pictures Katelyn E. e-mailed me (no, I wasn't there! :)
The happy couple :)

Now, back to Bailey TX, where we live:
Ben says this is a kind of sparrow -- it's so darlingly unique, though!

The first butterflies are out...

The Sherman Symphony is practicing for their next concert -- it's next week!

It's so special to have Ben playing in it!

That's the chronicle of two happy days -- though really, by God's grace every day in the Wahlquist house is a happy day! :)
