It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

Our bare tree

The hot water stopped while Mom was in the shower, and the lights were very dim until we called the power company and they fixed the problem!

Spares...

And the "new" car Dad bought which saves us a ton on gas! (It gets more than double the gas mileage of our van!)

The Guys fixed the dent in the door and replaced the broken window the morning after, (it came with the window busted and door dent) And we felt so cheery we put this sign on the steering wheel for Dad to find!
Ben's Birthday!

Warm in fur...

The guys watch/help Ben hang his new birdfeeder

What fun it is to see Snow Geese as they fly south!

A more dramatic view..

"The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined." Psalm 50:1

Thanksgiving! What a lot we have to be thankful for!

Christmas Frenzy!

In which the Christmas tree receives an electric shock.

...And turns into a candy striped collection of electric filaments...

"And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child." Luke 2:1-5

Paper Cuttings...

Nathaniel and Ben were inspired recently to cut "snowflakes" out of post-it-notes! I was (and am) astounded at the beautiful and very intricate designs they have made!

Merry Christmas!
