"And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child." Luke 2:1-5

  2. On Saturday night, we were driving along in town and I spotted a BIG Christmas tree on the side of the road. So, I asked Mom if we could pick it up. We did. It is artificial, but it's still pretty! It is about 7 or 8 feet tall and already had several (8 I think) strings of white Christmas lights on it. :) I do like the smell and look of real Christmas trees, though.

If we don't see y'all before Christmas, "Merry Christmas"! :)

    Blessings,
    Johanna

Karen -- nothing; just opened it up. ;)

  4. Ah! I feel better. For a moment there, it looked like something had actually happened to the instrument. I get nervous when pianos are opened or moved. I have to be out of the house when Dad does anything that significant to ours.
