Spring flowers in electric yellow...

More Spring blooms -- I'm enjoying every one!
This dog belonged to a pack of three that we spied on our place last week. We scared them off, so they wouldn't get the chickens or goats, and they wandered a half mile over to a neighbor's, where for some reason this one wanted to stay, while his buddies ran off. So Christine is trying to find a home for him... Pretty, isn't he? ;)
A delicious Asian-style dinner -- Mom's such a fantastic cook!
Not sure which kind of tree, but so darling!
100 meat chicks
I got new glasses! So grateful for glasses, and the ability to see well!
Deborah took this picture -- icing for her tea party's cupcakes... We all love her monthly family tea parties!
I really like your new glasses Elisha! And please send a picture of your new dress too--that looks like lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible dog!
Much Love,
Beth
I'm glad you like the glasses! I really like them. :)
DeleteI know -- the dog is simply ghastly -- in sunlight he glows pink. ;) He seems to have a nice disposition though. I really am surprised that he abandoned his dog buddies for Christine!
Love to you!
Elisha
Ooh! and the picture of Psalm and Deborah on the sideboard is so cute! Deborah's hair is getting so long--and looks so nice trimmed too!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Beth
Well, we would take that horrible dog in a heartbeat if we still lived in Texas - since Joy died, just about every dog looks beautiful to us! Not having one has created a gaping hole in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI think he's a white boxer, or boxer mix. Rather rare I understand - most white boxers are euthanized at birth. There is a grass roots movement to save white boxers. Maybe your neighbor could try contacting a boxer rescue if she can't rehome the dog (I'd keep him personally! Boxers make wonderful country dogs, regardless of how ugly they look).
Love the new glasses - frameless is pretty unique! Kathy has a set and she looks terrific in them too. I look awful, for some weird reason, so I've had to settle for partially frameless.
Are those yellow flowers the tiny pinhead kind that's so difficult to photograph? I never did quite suceed with them myself, souped up camera or not!
Dear Karen,
DeleteI know...ya'll need a dog! Maybe once you settle into NC... :)
I don't think our neighbor will ever euthanize the dog, even if she can't find a home for him...her inlaws have collected and cared for quite a mixed bag of strays throughout the years!
These aren't those tiny yellow ones--they're quite a bit bigger. :) I may post a pic of the whole plant next post. :)
Love all the comments! How I appreciate how media can make us closer, even though the miles lengthen!
Love,
Elisha
