CA Trip - June 4th

Deer abound... I love the huge ears

Really odd flowers!

Talking in the living room...

A favorite chair

Laughter

Lifting fog...

Roses for Grammy and the lady across the street

Deborah reads a text from Andrew on Beth's phone. :)

Grammy

:) :)

The hills!

Almost every day we were at Grammy's, we made it to the pool! That was such a treat. :)

Walking home from the pool...

A little meadow nestled among the oaks...

The perfect reading chair...

Four-square with extra people!

Taking another evening walk...

Lush

Contrasts and Layers

Gorgeous!

Now the fog begins to come in...

Sorry there's so many of these shots, but I couldn't decide between them! :)

Coming home, we see the four-square game is still in full swing!

My great-grandfather, George Leonard Shultz

Intricate, hand-carved frame-work by the artist himself -- my great-grandfather.

  1. Hmmm... someone had a lot of fun with their new camera! Photography and fog is a winning combination, don't you think?

Funny... it just occured to me that when you were out there that we were on opposite sides of the continent for the first time... is that weird or what!?!

    1. Yes, fog is super-neat (and often quite tricky) to photograph!

I hadn't thought of that -- opposite sides of the continent, eh?
