Trip to San Antonio: Saturday & Sunday

Move that trailer! ;)

Several of us went back to the Castroville park the next morning to look for Dad's glasses!

Searchers...

Victory! Beth found them -- the night before they'd been under 2 inches of water, so no wonder we didn't find them then!

Darling. They're so sweet together! We are glad to have Erich as an addition to our family! :)

A strange tree

Damage from the winds of the night before

:)

More damage -- a weatherbeaten old signboard

:)

Next, we went to an auction, to pass out "Golden Rule Air Conditioning" flyers!

Watching the auctioneer

Then -- volleyball from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm., with breaks for lunch and dinner! It was a blast!!!

Hey!

Interesting poses...

Ben practices a ballet move ;)

Wow!

It's in the sun, and I'm searching for it...

Micah, tall and thin

Some wise people preferred to watch rather than play!
The rest of us thought that turning bright red and having sore muscles was worth it. ;)

The clouds were gorgeous!

Lovely Mommy

The shade is welcome as we take a little break

Having fun talking that evening!

Oh -- and we did break from volleyball long enough after dinner to do the creative scavenger hunt that Maggie thought up!

Beth reads one of the witty letters...

Whole looking for more letters, we discovered a batch of kittens!

Some of the letters were very cute and funny! :)

Beth & Erich's house, from behind. Isn't it cute?

Stephen

:)

Dad, Jason, and Maggie -- she was the one who wrote the darling letters. :)

Laughter!

Kandace

Daniel

Another letter

It was so nice to see Mrs. Ehlinger's brothers! :)

Talkin'

Opening a present

Travis watches as Stephen and Dad face off :)

Beth's roses are doing SO well! Unfortunately, I didn't even get over to see them... :( :( :(

Another beauty

So pretty!

At church Sunday morning, after the fellowship meal...

Samuel E.

May birthday girls... :) :) :)

I do not approve of this procedure! ;)

It's always so home-like to see Dallas on the horizon and know we're getting nearer to home...

A nice Texas saying! :) Click on the pic to see the licence plate larger.

That's all of the trip -- quite a whirlwind, but quite delightful!!!! We are so grateful for the Ehlinger's hospitality. :) :)
