A Lovely Last Week

Beth took this picture of Chloe the other day -- she's growing so fast! Wish we were there... :)

We attended a sharing service at a friend's church for a group that had just returned from India!

Mom, on her way back from checking the ducks on a cold morning last week...

Gorgeous, in a chilly way ;)

 Sunset

The setting sun was turning these robins an almost blood-red color -- really neat!

 Yes, that's a robin! :)

 A favorite pic of mine...

There's something about the clear, cold winter evening sunsets that is so crisp and stirring...

Ben has begun teaching piano and violin lessons -- so apply if you'd like him to teach you!

 Hard at work

We had a friend, Daccheous, over for volleyball and dinner -- it was a lot of fun! :)

 Playing "Confusion" ;)

 Art?

Sheriff, buried under a mountain of laundry... ;)

This photo doesn't capture what it was like very well, but it gives a glimpse of what I saw the other night when Andrew's pager went off saying, "Possible structure fire..."
I looked out my window and saw a large, leaping glow against the low-lying clouds and thought, "That's no possible structure fire!" :) It kept him, Nathaniel, and the other volunteer firemen out from midnight to 5 a.m. :)

Wet and rainy day...

That was our week!

  1. Oh, I love the picture of Sheriff and the laundry! What a smart cat! That's right where I'd be, too, on a cold day!

    1. Actually... Deborah came out with an armful of laundry and dumped it on him -- and he just philosophically decided he'd stay where he was! ;) I'm sure it was warm! :)
