I really like a lot of the art by Jessie Wilcox Smith and Mabel Lucie Attwell. There's a charming sweetness about it that's very appealing! :)

    All watercolors?
    Some of them could be colored pencil, but I don't think colored pencil was popular when those pictures were made.

    Well... it might be. Oils have a certain richness of color, which that picture seems to have. It is certainly the least like water color of them all.

    Miss you, too. I'm going to try everything I can to get a letter off to you this week!

    I love these...especially the one of the two children in the hammock. Made me think of Eva and Hudson someday. :)
