Trip to SA - Part 2

Bringing in our flag -- how I love it!
Quite impressive!
And now...
...let's start the rodeo!
Some really good bucking horses, and really skilled riders! It was a treat to watch!

Charlotte kisses her cousin Kathryn :)

Missed! :(

Mutton busting! Always so adorable!

The little guy with the painted clown face won ;)
Kathryn is obviously an "old hand" regarding rodeos -- she actually fell asleep! :)

This was really neat -- they had all the bucking horses, devoid of gear, come out, to honor their important contribution to the rodeo. :) They were massive!

And... it's bull riding time, folks!

This pic is fuzzy, but I had to include it, because it really shows how amazing & difficult those bucking bulls are! He's practically standing on his head! :)

Saturday

Charlotte is such fun!

Thank you everyone who worked so hard!
Looking so good!

Mid-morning, some of us went to get some more supplies...
:)
Lunch break!

Lots more work!

Micah is quite a favorite uncle with all his nieces :)

That evening, Travis, Austin, & I visited some special friends of the E's, and announced Travis and my engagement. :) They were surprised and pleased!

We got back to the E's in time to hear most of the GOP debate! It was rather heated!

Sunday
Good morning!
Debs and Chloe
Charlotte LOVED the necklace Rachel H. gave Deborah!
Just teasing... ;) ;)
(hey, I didn't have the idea!)
Chatting with friends after church :)

A car that Daddy wanted to get after high school/college... He could sit in the front seat and touch the ground with his hand. ;) But he never got one.
A "pit stop" for dinner!

And... in Dallas again, on our way home!

It was a great trip, with lots of great things accomplished! Thanks for having us, E's!
