Weekend - Part 3

Installing our last bench seat so we can all go to the King's Trail Cowboy Church Ranch Rodeo! :)
 Old-timey ;)

 Cute family!

The face of an excited first-time mutton-buster :)

At the chutes, waiting for the mutton bustin' to start

It's always fun to watch the horses before an event starts!

 Our group

It was a treat to sit near this fun girl!

How grateful I am for Mom & Dad!

The teams line up... this little guy came in with his daddy. ;)
The three matching guys to the left were part of the team we rooted for, since Andrew knows one of them! :)
 Lots of neat horses!

 Boot Art ;)

 Mutton bustin' begins!
My abject apologies for the bad quality and paucity o pictures of the rodeo -- my only excuses are:  too much action, too low light!
 Here comes Stephen!

 Getting that steer down...

 "After him, men!" ;)
"Our" team, piosed to race after the steer...
They had to get the steer down and take the ropes off before the timer stopped...
Next was "branding," which involved cutting out a specific cow from a herd...
Racing to the "branding bucket" for the (flour covered) branding iron!

 Shovel races! ;)

This National Champion bull rider gave a testimony from his life on God's power... very neat!
 More action...
Andrew tries on Travis' hat! :)
 And Travis tries on Andrew's

And, the final event -- trailering! They had to cut out a certain cow, and get it into a trailer...
The end of a great evening, a great rodeo, and a great day! :) :)
