A Parent-less Weekend ;)

With Mom & Dad on their anniversary trip (so glad they got to go! :)), life went on at home...

 Two cute girls!

 Working on WSER's truck

This was our Thursday evening view... ;)

Morning breaks in bands of gold, sea green, peach, dark purple, and blue...

Debs and Stephen recorded a radio program -- lots of hard work went into it, and even more laughs! :)

The essential sound man

 Radio notes...

More polishing of the radio project...

This moth flew inside -- it was pretty big!

Wow! Micah was so manly to get out and brush-hog our acres! They had become quite overgrown with tall (ugly) Johnson grass.

 Man & machine

 Progress! :)

It looks so different -- and much nicer! :)

 Visiting on Saturday after dinner

Katelyn had the fun idea of volleyball Saturday evening -- although baby Kathryn wanted to play so badly that she kept one of the players "on the sidelines," holding her... ;) ;)

Sunday, we had a great time at church -- and SO MUCH FUN standing outside afterwards and talking with the fun H's! :)

Corn fields as we drove home

When I see these hills in the distance, I know I'm almost home... :)

-- except that the guys got a VFD call before we got home, so we all got to tag along on an interesting (although hot and sweaty and ultimately fruitless) search for a wreck that had been called in on 911!

We went on back roads I didn't even know existed -- some of which were more trails than roads. ;)

At the Bailey fire station afterwards, the guys discuss the call...

Hello, neighbors! They dropped by this evening

Mom & Dad brought these dino cards home for Stephen! :)
Glad to have you back, Dad & Mom! :) :)
