Do we stop to "savor the moment" enough? 
Of course, our lives can't be all leisure, all quietness and peace and simplicity.
But --
Each day, we lose 24 hours.
Each minute, we lose 60 seconds.
They're gone forever -- nothing we do can ever get them back. Did we savor them enough? Did we use them to their utmost capacity,
loving,
living, 
serving,
rejoicing in what God has given us?
Or...

  1. Or... well, you could make a very long list if you wanted to just using verbs. I love verbs.

    You can savor the moment outside of leisure by being in the moment as you're doing it. What was it Jim Elliot said... "Wherever you are, be all there?" Even in the midst of raging storms, you can find those moments if your eyes are open. But blink, and you'll miss the heart of the storm burst into colorful lightening. ;-)
