Just a few more beauty photos and then I can post about the Zoo and the "real" costume party!
Deborah's rose begins this way...
And ends like this!
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
How true! That I should not seek mine own will but God's.
Oh, what lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteDo you get any bees on your roses?
I went to see the wild roses just after the sun rose one morning, and there were bumblebees, honeybees, and every other type of yellow and black flying creature busily buzzing over them! It was so beautiful! I felt like I stepped into a poem or a lovely descriptive book. I can't find the poem I vaguely remember, but here is one I found looking for it....
ReplyDelete" And then pell-mell his harvest follows swift
Blossom and Borage, lime and balm and clover
On downs the thyme, on cliffs the scantling thrift
Everywhere the bees go racing with the hours
For every bee becomes a drunken lover
Standing upon his head to sup the flowers"
