A snipe on the pond!
So neat to see such a unique waterbird...
A sparrow enjoying scattered seeds from the feeder!
Icicles!
A robin looks cheery among the "evergreens" and snow...
Wild rose in snow
It was interesting to find that the snow covered the forest floor as well--the trees being thin enough to let it through!
Chickadee
A Ruby Crowned Kinglet
One of my favorite photos
Winter steer!
You can't really see from the photo, but the snow glittered in the sun
The Arctic
This reminds me of an I Spy background!
Another day's sun rises...
The Shop Cat
(who was abandoned by neighbors who moved, and now makes the guys life more interesting at the shop)
A Russian lady in a babushka feeds the abandoned cats at their previous home : )
Stephen listens to his favourite "chapter book" so far --"Swallows and Amazons"--he doesn't look very interested but that is because he is listening so he won't miss a single word!
New Art
Someone is getting very proficient at photographing birds. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture of "The Shop Cat." Does he have a name?
That someone is Ben. :) Though I did photograph some migrating robins yeaterday! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, the "Shop Cat" has a name. Can you guess? "Officer." :)
Cor ad cor loquitur ~ Elisha
You THOUGHT that was the last of the snow!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the photos of the sunrise and the one right under the photo entitled "A Russian lady in a babushka feeds the abandoned cats at their previous home". :)
ReplyDeleteWe ARE having a cold snap right now, too, aren't we! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, we sure are having a "cold snap" (isn't that an under-standment?)! How cold is it at your place? It's 11 degrees here with the windchill (21 without the windchill). It is currently snowing pretty heavily and it has covered the ice, so it's pretty slippery!
