A dear friend gave me a Shutterfly.com coupon -- it was so much fun to work on this photo book, and have a hard copy of this last year!

I was sorting through our sewing notions this last week, and noted how dull and everyday our modern packaging is, compared with:

...the spools from long ago.

 Thursday, I was invited to a friend's birthday party, and also got to see their grandmother's former house:

Then, back at the C's: their lovely new bathroom!

 

It was treat to sit out around a fire!

It was chilly enough to make the warmth of the fire quite welcome -- which was even more fun!
