  1. I miss those funny little flycatchers. *sigh* Don't have 'em out here in the east at all. We have Carolina Wrens instead. Bossiest little birds in creation. And the loudest. If I leave my window open for the night, guess what wakes me up before 6 am. ;-)

    Those are some LOVELY cloud photos you took! Looked to me like layers of stratus and alto stratus. Have you ever noticed that right around Sept. the clouds completely change from the puffy cumulus to those dense, layers? The colors change, too. It's almost as if the atmosphere undergoes a remodel, or something. I hope that means a break from the hot weather for ya'all.
